Master of Science: Eligibility Criteria
There are two main fields where the MS course is offered:
- Engineering and
- Management
In full-time mode, the period can vary from 1.5 to 3 years. In the qualifying exam at the UG level, a minimum of 50-60 per cent is required, including a clear GATE score for enrollment in the MS course.
- Science field
- Qualified a BTech or BE or MSc course with an aggregate of 50-60 per cent.
- A good GATE score.
- The candidate might also have qualified CSIR or UGC NET or NBHM examinations, instead of GATE.
- Without other credentials, they must earn 80 per cent marks from any IIT colleges in the B.Tech course.
- Management field
- The applicant must have qualified Master of MBA or Arts with CAT or XAT or MAT or GATE or UGC or CSIR or CSIR or GMAT or ATMA or GRE.
- A minimum of three years of lieu managerial experience is required to apply for an MS degree if the candidate doesn't have the other credentials.
