How to Track Changes in a Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation

PowerPoint does not have a great tracking changes function as Microsoft Word has. To compare and combine the files, you must have a copy of the file you provide for review. This does not preclude you from tracking the changes in PowerPoint, however. Wow, that could seem complicated, but here is a brief explanation of how to monitor changes in PowerPoint.

Finding Changes in PowerPoint

It is comparable to tracking changes in PowerPoint for Office 2019/2016/2013/2010 versions. If you are giving a presentation for your employer and want your seniors to evaluate it, you must submit them. You can follow modifications once you submit them. Examine how to do it now.

Step 1: Make a copy of your presentation.

Make copy

To compare your presentation later, you must duplicate it and save it on an external device or cloud storage. After that, you may transmit or share the presentation with the audience member you wish to critique your work. You may download the copy and see the presentation when they have evaluated it.

Step 2: Open the PowerPoint presentation

Open presentation

Now launch PowerPoint and choose "Review" > "Compare" from the menu. Once the document is evaluated, you may submit it and click the "Merge" option.

On the slide, you may also reject or remove comments. To erase comments on individual slides or all of the presentations, click "Delete." Alternatively, you may click on a particular remark and choose "Delete Comment." You may save the document after making the necessary changes in PowerPoint.
