- Firstly, you will have to download OBS; you can't get it in the Apple App Store or Microsoft Windows Store. Therefore, open up a web browser on your Windows or Mac device and go to obsproject.com. It's the OBS official site. Visit the site and click on Windows or Mac depending on your operating system, download the respective installed and install OBS on your system.
- Open up the OBS application for both Windows and Mac, and the UI should be similar. In the OBS studio, check if there is any Scene created or not. If not, click on the Plus icon under the Scenes section, give the scene a name, leave it as it is, and click ok.
- Once you have created a scene, move to the Sources section, click on the Plus button below Sources and select the Display Capture or Screen Record option from the menu. Configure the resolution and other opportunities for the screen recording using the OBS wizard.
