Advancements in technology have led us to save time and effort in doing whatever we have to do. Be it working from home on your laptop or working in a grocery store. One such advancement is the ability of our Operating Systems to remember our username and password so that we don't have to type it again and again.
Windows 10 has this ability too where it can remember your usernames and passwords. But then we have all been in a situation where we needed to view the saved passwords in Windows 10. The Credential Manager comes into play in such situations.
To protect your credentials from hackers, use a free VPN for Windows, especially when connecting to public Wi-Fi networks. It hides your IP address and encrypts traffic, so your data is safe.
All of our log-in credentials including the usernames, passwords, and addresses are saved by a Windows digital locker called Credential Manager. Here, our credentials are divided into two groups: Web Credential and Windows Credential.
As can be assumed, only Windows uses Windows credentials. It includes the passwords saved by Windows while you used to log into the homegroup or shared folders of other companies that were in the same network. The usernames and passwords that you use to log in to various sites are saved by Web Credentials. Here, in this article, you will learn how to find, view, and manage passwords in Windows 10 using Credential Manager.
